Integrative Psychotherapy

A place to
come home
to yourself

Something in you already knows that something needs to change — even if you can’t quite name what it is yet. Therapy is the space where you begin to listen, not just with your mind, but with your whole self.

You might be here because…

You’re living mostly in your head You’re holding everything together You feel stuck in the same patterns Something feels off but you can’t name it You want real change, not just insight You’re ready to go deeper

The approach

Therapy that works
with all of you

This isn’t about analysing your way to answers. It’s about coming into relationship with yourself — the parts you’ve been carrying, the patterns you keep returning to, and the self that’s waiting underneath.

I work with mind, body and emotion together. Where it’s helpful, we bring in breath, sensation and gentle embodiment practices — not as technique, but as a way of listening more fully to what you’re already holding.

Bessel van der Kolk’s research reminds us that the body holds what the mind hasn’t yet found words for. This is often where we begin.

“Healing happens not just in the mind, but in the body — in the breath, the tension held in your shoulders, the tightness you carry without a name. Therapy is the space where we learn to find where those feelings actually live.”

Areas I work with

Anxiety & stress

The body often carries what the mind can’t stop turning over. We work with both.

Relationships & patterns

People-pleasing, disconnection, painful dynamics — explored at the root.

Identity & meaning

Who you are beneath the roles you play. What’s calling you forward.

Life transitions

Thresholds — professional, personal, relational — that ask something new of you.

Ancestral & family patterns

What’s been passed down. The stories that live in the body before they reach the mind.

Embodiment & transformation

Coming out of the head. Into the body. Toward a truer, freer self.

About Tehira

The mind understands.
The body remembers.
We work with both.

I’m a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist with over 25 years in corporate life, 15 years teaching yoga, and my own continuing journey of inner work.

I bring together psychotherapy and embodiment practices — because lasting change rarely happens in the mind alone. Something shifts when we learn to listen to the wisdom the body has been holding all along.

I offer a space that is warm, unhurried, and genuinely relational — where it’s safe to go beneath the surface.

What clients say

“I have grown and healed in a way I never imagined I would when I first sought the support I needed. Tehira has always shown great respect for me while guiding me through difficult emotions and feelings and I have always felt I could be honest and open in a way I didn’t realise I needed to be, both with her and myself.”
